Research Topic Selection and Research Agenda Development Workshop

The institution successfully conducted a Research Topic Selection and Research Agenda Development Workshop, aimed at strengthening the research capabilities of faculty members across departments. The event featured a lecture and open discussion on selecting relevant and impactful research topics, followed by a session on developing a well-structured research agenda, and a hands-on workshop proper where participants worked by department to craft their own research agendas.

The workshop was graced by guest speaker Dr. Erlito M. Albina, Professor at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, who shared valuable insights on the research process, from identifying research gaps to formulating clear research directions. Selected departments presented their workshop outputs, reflecting the institution’s continuing commitment to fostering a strong culture of research among its faculty.

Faculty Development Activity Successfully Completed

The College of Arts, Sciences and Education, in collaboration with the High School Department, conducted a seminar-workshop for all faculty on 03 July 2026 dedicated to professional growth and educational excellence. Our dedicated faculty members gathered to explore, collaborate, and innovate under the theme: “Empowering Educators, Transforming Learning”. The 4-hour activity focused on building effective, innovative, and learner-centered classrooms.

Railway Cluster - Tokyo Metro on-site training in Japan

Selected students and faculty members of FEATI University successfully completed a training program at the Tokyo Metro Academy, focusing on the Maintenance and Inspection of Urban Railway Tracks.

The program provided in-depth knowledge of the Tokyo Metro Civil Engineering Department’s standards and practices for maintaining and inspecting urban railway infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and stable transportation services. Participants were immersed in both comprehensive face to face lectures and rigorous hands-on training sessions, allowing them to directly experience Japan’s world class railway maintenance methodologies.
