Aviation Awards

Award nights have always been the pinnacle of success of a person’s career. FEATI University have always held countless events like this to commemorate the different achievements of students and alumni. The awards started off with the registration of the students and awardees. The awardees were ushered by the Aviation Students’ Guild who were one of the organizers of the event.

The program carried on and awarded the winners for the Aviation Month Activities. Next, the Red Hat Awardees from both Undergrads and SHS students were recognized. Board exam passers and topnotchers (Engr. Jharie Mae Soriano, 2021 AELE Board Topnotcher and Engr. Samad Sultan, 2023 AELE Board Topnotcher) were happily taking photos together after they have been called to the stage. The FEATI Student Models were surprised to be called and recognized. Industry partners from Flightline, AFRDC and Air Ads were also there to enjoy the event. The event did not waste any time to also recognize who the FEATI Aviation Professional Award, (Col. Giemel O. Espino PAF, and Engr. Arvin Gastardo) FEATI Aviation Institution Award (AFRDC), Young FEATI Aviation Professional Award (Mr. Brent Palisoc) and lastly, FEATI Aviation Lifetime Achievement Award (Engr. Jose A. Doromal) belonged to. Engr. Doromal delivered his overall speech for the event and took the chance to inspire all our students to keep aiming high and understand that even though it looks impossible to achieve, there will always be that ray of hope that could soar us to our hopes and dreams.

All in all, the Aviation Awards Night 2024 ended with a dinner that enabled us to talk about the future and old friends that turned into family. It is without a doubt that FEATI’s saying of “Look up young man, look up!” was felt that day because everyone had a great time looking up at our university’s successful students and alumni.
