FEATI x MCU Immersion 2022

On its 4th year of collaboration, FEATI University, through its Marketing Team, was invited once again by Manila Central University- Senior High School Department to provide Career Talks for their Work Immersion Programs. This is to prepare the young Centralinos for the field of their choice.

The Immersion Program for students wanting to persue BS Architecture in College was held last June 3 and 10, 2022 broadcasted via Zoom. Twenty aspiring young architects of Manila Central University were able to join the said immersion.

For Day 1, career opportunities was discussed by Ar. Deanna Marie Pacis- Ilaga, the Program Head of BS Architecture of FEATI University. The roles and services of Architect in the Design Field was discussed for the student to understand the employment opportunities that await them in the industry such as being a Desing Architect, Project Architect, Construction Architect, Business or Sales, involvement in the Academe and so much more.

A take home activity was instructed for the Centralinos to work on and will be represented during the Day 2 of the immersion. To have a hands-on experience of the activity, the students were tasked to design a Skycraper sketch model which they can do using the provided template by the speaker or use materials that are readily available to them. The participation of family member and friends are highly encoraged in the said activity since collaboration is essential in the design industry. The students were able to deliver impressive and commendable design showcasing their talents and creativity.

More than just providing the technical know-hows of the course, FEATI University also does its part in helping the Centralinos in realizing their skills and potentials by unleashing their creativity by providing relevant learning experience to the students, albeit doing it at the comforts of their home.
