PRI Training

FEATI again hosts the Fundamental Training Course Practical Activities by the Philippine Railways Institute (PRI) of the Department of Transportation (DOTr)

The DOTr-PRI sponsored Fundamental Training Course (Cycle 5) returned to FEATI last 30,31 August and 01 September for the Practical Activities. The practical activities of previous batches were also held in FEATI in February and June of 2022 . As a major training partner of DOTr –PRI, FEATI University offered its railway training facilities, laboratories, tools and equipment for the PRI training / practical activities. This time, a total of 45 participants completed the sessions on Signalling & Communications, Power Supply & Distribution and, Rolling Stock Maintenance. The activities will help the trainees to familiarize with the industry practices in the railway industry.

FEATI’s railways laboratory includes two(2) Maronouchi class train coaches donated by Tokyo Metro Company Ltd. Of Japan to support the University’s programs in railway engineering and in railways management.
