FEATI University Student Services provide personalized student support to assist you with everything from academic planning to a broad range of student services and resources in order to offer the best experience possible. These include career development services to help you reach your professional goals, student orientation and academic advising services to get you prepared for the challenges of a student’s life. To look after your well-being while in the campus, there is student health services that provide emergency first aid, medications for common physical and dental ailments, annual physical examinations as well as lectures and seminars that promote healthy lifestyle. The University also provides professional individual and group counseling services for a wide range of student concerns. For your safety and security, there is an Internal Security group who operates 24/7 and also coordinates with the local government unit to ensure your protection from any harm or threat within the proximity of the campus. More importantly, FEATI University is cognizant of the need for spiritual growth of its students. It has a Campus Ministry unit that administers programs and activities that guide and mold you to become good, mature and responsible Catholic Christians.

REGISTRAR
The Registrar is the custodian of the academic records of the students. The Registrar’s Office is responsible for the integrity and security of records in accordance with legal and University standards. It captures, preserves and provides information to students, parents, faculty, staff and the community. It ensures that policies and procedures are implemented and enforced according to the standards, policies and guidelines of the University, CHED and other government agencies.
The University has a complete automated system to cater to students’ records needs and requirements. Most student records from the Transcript of Records to yearbooks are now in digital format aside from the hard copy.

UNIVERSITY LIBRARY
The FEATI University Library serves the curricular information needs of its six colleges, namely: College of Architecture, School of Fine Arts, College of Arts, Sciences and Education, College of Business, College of Engineering, and College of Maritime Education. It is strategically located at the center of Bldg 2, 4th Floor and adjacent to classrooms and administrative offices. New books, comfortable study desks and chairs, air-conditioned and carpeted study areas contribute to an increase in the volume of library visitors.
The open shelves allow students a free access to the library materials. The major library operations, most of which are computerized, include cataloging and classification of library materials, user services, acquisitions, library management and extension services.
All the traditional and new forms of information resources such as books, periodicals, maps, audio-visual materials, CD-ROMs are neatly arranged for easy retrieval.
To match the modern look of the facilities, an Electronic and Online Library and two OPAC stations are open to library users for easy access to information sources.
The act of sharing the facilities of the University library through library consortiums forms part of the University’s outreach or extension service. All member-libraries of these consortiums such as Philippine Association of Academic and Research Librarians (PAARL); U-Belt Consortium; Mendiola Libraries Consortium, Intramuros Library Consortium (ILC) Taft Libraries Consortium, among others have active outreach programs. FEATI University Library is open to students at schools which are member-libraries.
The University library commits to further enhance its services and comply with PACUCOA and ISO accreditation standards as it continues to support all the colleges and departments of FEATIU.
FEATI University Library will accomplish its purpose and objectives by:
- Maintaining a balanced collection of both print and non-print learning resources that are supportive of the curricular and research objectives of the different programs of the university;
- Introducing technology-driven and service-oriented programs to keep-up with global trends in information management;
- Acquiring information resources that will nourish and develop a person’s intellectual and emotional intelligence.
The Learning Resource Center of FEATI University primarily serves the information needs of the students, faculty members, staff and alumni. It also welcomes researchers from other schools. It exists to support the instructional, research and extension service programs of the colleges through the provision of adequate, relevant, and up-to-date information sources, qualified personnel and properly maintained facilities.
Linkages and Industry Partners
FEATI University Library is an active member of the Intramuros Library Consortium (ILC), U-Belt Consortium; Mendiola Libraries Consortium, Taft Libraries Consortium and the Philippine Association of Academic and Research Librarians (PAARL). The seminar or forum fees are usually waived or are discounted for participants of members. The library staff has benefited from these memberships after having attended seminars sponsored by library associations.
In 2016, FEATI University Library joined the Consortium of Engineering Libraries of the Philippines (CELPh). This is an organization which aims to help each member-library to evaluate materials before acquisition for the benefit of the member-school.
STUDENT AFFAIRS
The Office of Student Affairs believes that molding FEATINIANS into well-rounded individuals will lead to happy, more productive, pro-active, service-oriented and lifelong learners and professionals. Thus, as one of the service units of the University, it is first and foremost responsible in ensuring the welfare of its young FEATINIANS. It oversees the student organizations’ proper implementation of student-initiated programs and activities guided by existing University policies. The OSA also helps students in designing cultural, athletic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that will enhance their academic performance as well as the social and personal aspects of their being and eventually achieve their professional goals and aspirations.
It is through the assistance of Office of Student Affairs that FEATINIANS are able to plan and implement their different activities which help facilitate The Great FEATI Experience while they are in the University.
Vision
The Office of Student Affairs will be a leading service unit in the campus to oversee student organizations and help these organizations in setting up activities that will enhance the students’ academic performance. It will foster an environment that will strengthen students’ self-discipline, values and compliance with school policies, thus aiding them to become lifelong learners, committed to the service of God, country, others, and their family.
Mission
This Vision will be accomplished by:
- Promoting self-confidence, interest and skills of students by staging various activities;
- Providing leadership and team-building seminar-workshops;
- Guiding students to initiate activities that enhance academic performance;
- Participating in more academic, cultural and sports competitions in the inter-collegiate and national level;
- Inspiring students to practice the core values of FEATI University as a way of life;
- Collaborating with the students’ parents or guardians for the attainment of their educational goal.
Student Activities and Organizations
Pursuant to the University’s thrust of molding students to be productive, creative and responsible future leaders in their respective fields of endeavor, the Office of Student Affairs encourages the formation of student organizations. The said student organizations aim to prosper the social, cultural, religious, literary, educational and recreational well-being of students.
The following are the only recognized student organizations in the University:
1. Aviation Society For Research and Development (ASRAD) – an active organization of the Aeronautical Engineering and Aircraft Maintenance Technology students.
2. Students’ Association In Geodetic Engineering (SAGE) – composed of students taking up Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering.
3. FEATI Architecture Student Association (FASA) – An association of united Architecture students of FEATI University responding to the needs of the students through incorporating green and sustainable architecture in their activities, engaging in various architectural workshops and exposure to actual projects as the fundamental guidelines for their future practice as architects that will uphold the ideals of the University and the College of Architecture.
4. JR Philippine Association of University Women (JR. PAUW) – This association aims to unite all university women of the Philippines in a national organization thereby promoting close cooperation, understanding and friendship among themselves in the Philippines and with university women abroad.
5. Electrical and Electronics Engineering Society (EEE-triple E) – The community of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering students organized this group imbued by their desire to believe in their ideals and aspirations in the field of their course through better understanding, mutual cooperation and sincere dedication.
6. FEATI University – Red Cross Youth Council (FU-RCYC) – It primarily aims to develop among the students the spirit of humanitarianism and social service through active and direct involvement in activities of the Philippine Red Cross, particularly the Manila Chapter. It specializes in environmental awareness and dissemination of Humanitarian Law and the Cross Seven (7) fundamental principles: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.
7. Junior Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (JPICE) – The objectives of the JPICE students are the advancement of civil engineering knowledge and practice; fostering and improvement of civil engineering education; simulation of engineering research and development of fellowship among Civil Engineering students.
8. Global English Profiency Program Society (GEPPSOC) – The members would like to promote literacy, understanding and harmony in business, science and technology through series of worthwhile activities and workshops that develop their potentials in the arts, polish their English language proficiency skills particularly in speaking, reading and writing.
9. Philippine Society Of Mechanical Engineers (JPSME – FU Student Chapter) – The Society is organized and operated for the exclusive purpose of advancing the allied sciences, arts, and related human factors of mechanical engineering for the benefit of the general public. To fulfill its role, the Society shall recognize the effect of its technology on the environment and natural resources to protect the welfare of its posterity.
10. FEATI University Supreme Student Council (FUSSC) – This student organization is the major organization where all students are part of. It nurtures the social, cultural, religious, literary, educational and recreational well-being of the students. It aims to take care of the welfare of each FEATINIAN, to contribute and plan activities for the student body, and to voice the concerns of each FEATINIAN.
STUDENT ASSISTANCE
The Student Assistance Services endeavors to keep its lifelong commitment to help every FEATINIAN student and graduate attain his/her full potential to become a self-starter and globally competitive.
SAS continues to re-invent its program services in order to adapt to the changing needs, forge ties and reach out to as many students and graduates as possible. Its services include on-the-job-training (OJT) and job placement referrals, career counseling, job fair, job posting, seminars, training and workshop. The SAS facilitates student access to external scholarships or financial assistance and is responsible for graduates’ list subscription and for providing information pertaining to career requirements & opportunities.
The SAS sustains and manages the program services with support from linkages with industry partners and network of companies, institutions and organizations, both local and international.
Through the SAS, the University ensures that every FEATINIAN is provided the needed assistance during his/her stay in the University.

Mission
The Student Assistance Services will assist FEATI students and graduates to be well-prepared and equipped with knowledge and skills required in their chosen career paths/fields.
Objectives
The Student Assistance Services aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Establish beneficial working relationship with various companies and organizations, both local and international, for possible job placement, on-the-job-training and apprenticeship of FEATI students, cadets and graduates in the fields of aviation, maritime, engineering, architecture, business, arts and sciences;
- Provide the necessary tools and ensure access to relevant information pertaining to career opportunities and employment trends;
- Design and implement an enhancement training program to equip all students with job-hunting skills;
- Facilitate the implementation of the various scholarship and financial assistance programs of the University and external organizations based on approved guidelines;
- Collaborate and negotiate partnerships with government institutions, private companies, corporate foundations and other organizations that support the SAS objectives.
Services
The SAS endeavors to keep its lifelong commitment to help FEATINIAN students and graduates attain their full potential in becoming self-starters and globally competitive. SAS reaches out to as many students and graduates as possible through its various services as follows:
1. Job Placement Referrals Receives and coordinates with companies with manpower requirements; recommends and endorses prospective candidates to both local and international companies. This service involves industry and network partners’ endorsement, graduates list subscription, marketing paraphernalia, job postings, job fairs, and career portals.
2. On-the-Job Training (OJT) Referrals Identifies training opportunities for students, both local and international, through industry and network partners’ endorsements, OJT postings, poster/brochures/flyers, educational tours/ fieldtrips/ plant visits, and career portals.
3. Scholarship/Financial Assistance Assists deserving students in identifying scholarship grants or financial assistance that are available for them to pursue their studies. Scholarship grants are either internal or external sources.
4. Seminars, Training and Workshops Invites resource speakers with extensive experience in career advancement, personality development, corporate fashion and etiquette, resume writing, latest career trends and other job search skills to impart their know-how to FEATIU students. The SAS collaborates with the Graduating Students Preparation Program (GradSPreP) Committee, the Guidance & Counseling Office, and the different academic colleges and departments for this service.
5. Information Assistance on various career requirements Seeks to inform and enlighten students and graduates about various career requirements that local and international employers normally require. The SAS also provides adequate information regarding applications for passport or seaman’s book.
6. Public Relations and Networking Acts as the University’s representative in meetings with external groups or individuals where FEATI student assistance services are concerned.
HEALTH
(Medical-Dental Clinic)

GUIDANCE & COUNSELING
Vision
The Guidance and Counseling Office is committed to the holistic growth and development of FEATInians. It empowers all students to reach their maximum potential by using a comprehensive program that addresses academic, personal/social, and career goals. It promotes an environment that encourages personal inquiry and growth, social responsibility, and academic excellence.
Mission
The Guidance and Counseling Office will accomplish its vision by:
Providing a proactive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate program to address students’ academic and career goals in addition to supporting their personal and social needs. This is accomplished through a partnership with parents or guardians, teachers, staff, and community members to enable all students to become successful, productive citizens and life-long learners in a diverse and changing world. Guidance & Counseling Office Overview
The Guidance & Counseling Office (GCO) believes in molding a dynamic, responsible, pro-people and service- oriented staff so as to be focused on the holistic growth and development of all FEATInians. It is located on the 4th Floor beside the Office of Student Affairs.
The Guidance & Counseling Office offers services that are preventive and developmental in nature. They are geared towards contributing to the personal, psychological-emotional, social, educational, and career development of students. These services include Psychological Testing & Assessment, Individual Inventory, Individual and Group Counseling, Academic and Career Guidance, Follow Through and Referral System.
There is a licensed professional guidance counselor who handles counseling cases in a room is provided that ensures privacy and confidentiality during the session. A licensed psychometrician who is in charge in the administration and interpretation of standardized psychological tests is also available.
Core Services
The objectives of the Guidance & Counseling Office are concretized through the following core services as it responds primarily to the developmental needs of the students as well as the FEATI Community. These services and programs are continuously enhanced in an effort to provide the best possible assistance to its clientele.
Psychological Testing/Assessment
This service refers to the administration, interpretation, dissemination, and utilization of standardized psychological tests that assess mental ability, achievement, aptitude, interest, personality, etc. Test profile is disseminated and interpreted to each student for information and guidance. Test results are also available and provided to academic advisers, teachers and parents upon request and when necessary.
Individual Inventory
Records of students which include personal data sheet, psychological test results, academic performance and medical history as well as other important documents are filed and kept in strict confidentiality at the Guidance & Counseling Office. It is a continuous process of accumulating pertinent data and other specific information about each student in the University from the time he/she enrolls to the time he/she graduates, transfers to another school or is dropped from the enrollment list.
All student information is vital to the guidance counselor in understanding the students better.
Counseling (Individual and Group)
Counseling is the heart of the guidance services. This service establishes a professional relationship between a counselor and student/client in which the counselor attempts to assist the student/client in adjusting to academic, career, social, physical, emotional, psychological, mental, and spiritual aspects of life that could affect his/her optimal development.
- Walk – in / Appointment – Students may directly consult with the guidance counselor regarding concern/s at the GCO with or without appointment.
- Invitation (Call – slip) – The guidance counselor can invite students for counseling by issuing call-slips for pre-determined meetings.
- Referrals – A faculty member, dean, department head, parent or a university official may refer students for counseling if they observe something unusual or of immediate concern with regards to the behavior of a particular student.
Academic and Career Guidance
Career development of students is one area that the GCO considers vital. Programs and activities for the students are geared towards self-understanding, development of competencies, career planning and making informed decision on their educational and occupational choices. GCO enriches its career guidance through the following: Career Testing, Career Counseling, and Career Symposia/Conference/Workshops. This service is in collaboration with Student Assistance Services Unit and the GradsPrep Committee.
Follow Through
This GCO service monitors the condition of the student who had undergone counseling to determine the progress and adjustment he/she has made. This is also meant to evaluate the efficiency of the GCO intervention applied to the student/counselee.
Referral Service
Additional assistance is provided to students by referring them to other external agencies or specialists should they be in need of certain intervention.
GCO Special Program and Services Peer Facilitators’ Program
The Guidance & Counseling Office motivates and trains students to become accountable to their peers. It has created the Peer Facilitators’ Program that fosters a sense of community among students by connecting them together through exercises in self-reflection, team building, trust and acceptance. Under this program is the FEATI Peer Group. This group is tapped to assist first year college students by facilitating an easy transition to college life. It also provides a network of support that extends beyond the classroom.
CAMPUS MINISTRY
The Campus Ministry forms the core of how the University nurtures spiritual life of its students and personnel. The University believes and is guided with the mission of caring for the holistic development of all its students. Students find opportunities to grow in their faith, support social justice and integrate spirituality in their everyday life.
Guided by the ecumenical teachings of the Catholic Church, the Campus Ministry welcomes and serves students from all religious backgrounds and traditions.
It is headed by a Campus Minister who administers programs and activities that guide and mold students to become good, mature and responsible individuals.
IT/EDP
The IT/EDP Service unit of FEATI University is the technical hub that provides a wide range of technical support to all its students and personnel. It also develops various computerized systems for university-wide implementation. IT/EDP maintains an online Open-Source Enterprise System which has modules on student registration system, library system, human resource, asset management, and accounting system.
It continues its advocacy in the use of open-source technology by implementing the following:
- Moodle for Speech Laboratory
- Records, Archive and Document Management System
- Student Wifi Services
- Email & groupWare System
- PassControl System
IT/EDP is primarily responsible for rendering technical assistance on and maintenance of the following facilities of the University:

- Computer-Based Training Modules
- Training Simulators
- CCTV
- Robotics and Solidworks Laboratory
- IP/PBX
SAFETY & SECURITY
The University has a Safety & Security Group that ensures a safe and secure environment for its students, employees and guests within the vicinity of the campus. The Group has partnered with the local police, as well as with the fire and other emergency rescue departments for immediate assistance and response to imminent threats of violence, criminal incidents, emergency medical incidents, auto accidents and others.
It supports the school administration in maintaining peace and order in the campus and assists in the implementation of school rules and regulations.
CASHIER
The FEATI University Cashier is responsible for assessing student fees, preparing and sending out billing statements, receiving payments and depositing funds received in accordance with university regulations. It also implements standardized cash receipting and cash handling policies and procedures as well as reporting and record-keeping of all University cash and cash equivalents. It ensures that these important University assets are well-protected, accurately and timely processed, and properly accounted for.
CANTEEN
For the convenience of students, FEATI University provides a canteen service within the campus that offers reasonably priced, nutritious and well-balanced meals. The canteen, which is situated at the second floor of Building 3, can be easily accessed by students as it is near to almost all the classrooms.
The canteen, which is run by a concessionaire, is well-maintained and complies with government and University sanitary standards. In the same way, all canteen personnel are compliant with certain hygiene requirements. It also ensures that safe and potable water is available at all times.
The canteen is scheduled for redevelopment.
