Theme: Anchored in Values, Fueled by Innovation: FEATINIANS Soaring Into the Future
FEATI University focuses on two essential concepts: Values and Innovation on its 79th Commencement Exercises.
Both departments: The ARTS and COMMUNICATION as well as the SCIENCES under CASE are notable considering that FEATI as a university is known for its holistic approach on education. Its institutional courses of Christian Doctrine and Values Formation serve as a moral compass to all students in their quest to imbibe into their system the FEATINIAN Core Values of Integrity, Scholarship, Accountability, Equality, and Patriotism. In the same manner, the two Christian Doctrine subjects give meaning and purpose to their complex human life. All these encourage them to observe ethical conduct which ensures their endurance, faithfulness, and trustworthiness. Likewise, the values-based method of FEATIU bestows FEATINIANS with stability and direction in times of uncertainty. Meanwhile, the Sciences Department produces in them number literacy, mastery of facts, and expertise on exact answers that enhance their logical-mathematical intelligence needed in the engineering discipline. These numeracy skills allow them to apply mathematical information in solving real world problems. With the fusion of their moral values, creativity and innovation, they become great thinkers of new ideas and creators of tangible things that have real value to users. Anchored in Values, FEATINIANS all remain steadfast in upholding their belief system about right and wrong. Then, fueled by innovation, they build novel business models or services. On the whole, FEATINIANS are taught critical thinking through the art of questioning , the process of associating an experience to another, the prudence of observing phenomena, the significance of networking or collaborating on shared ideas, and the never-ending try it all – by experimenting and focusing on the result. Indeed, FEATI is an esteemed university that engages in highly technical process, engineering autonomous system, finite element-based computing, robotics, and automation. It is now transitioning from Industry 4.0 which centered on automation, Internet of Things, and big data for productivity — to Industry 5.0 automation and productivity that incorporates advancements in human-machine interfacing, decision making by humans and environmental sustainability. Thus, FEATI graduates do not just fly but soar to greater heights in the future owing to their knowledge in extended reality, sustainable technology, and ethical standards. As such, let me end with this splendid quote from St. Jerome: “Good, better, best. Never let it rest.” “Till your good is better and your better is best.” Congratulations, batch 2025!
