Students from the FEATI University School of Fine Arts participated in the 2026 UST Inter-School On-the-Spot Painting Competition (OTSPC) last February 28 at the UST Benavides Garden.

Focusing on the theme “Philippine Festivities: Painting the Spirit of Filipino Celebrations,” FEATI’s student-artists painted live, showcasing the vibrancy and richness of Filipino traditions with technical skill and creative insight

Representing FEATIU in this oldest and most prestigious student art competition are students Monaliza Deligero (4th Year), Czarlhet Donovan (3rd Year), Annalyn Joy Inocencio (2nd Year), and Hans Recaido (2nd Year), who brought their individual styles to the event.

Throughout the competition, each artist joyfully showed dedication and passion, channeling the vibrant energy of Filipino celebrations into expressive works. Notably, Hans Recaido also achieved the celebratory milestone of advancing to the semi-finals.

Their outstanding participation proudly highlights the University’s commitment to nurturing emerging artists and providing platforms for real-world artistic experiences. Through opportunities like this, FEATIU empowers students to explore boldly, create with purpose, and become future pioneers in the creative industry.
