ALTERNATIVE CLASS PROGRAM
Student Assistance Services (SAS) in cooperation with GRADSPREP invites all FEATI graduates, graduating students and juniors to attend the first Alternative Class Program (ACP) on February 29, 2008 from 9am to 4pm at selected classrooms in the University.
The Alternative Class Program (ACP) is created in lieu of the Job Fair. This program is intended to present alternative learning sessions to address various career expectations of those entering the job market.
Representatives from the following companies will participate in or facilitate various learning sessions of the ACP:
- Moldex
- TBS Industrial Marketing
- Techno Service Construction Company Inc.
- 3C Distributor International Inc.
- White Dove Recruitment Corporation
- TopServe Manpower Support Inc.
- E-Telecare
Based on the survey conducted by SAS, the alternative class topics are as follows:
1. Building Mega Structure: Outsourcing Engineering Global developments and progress in the field of engineering will be discussed.
2. Customer Service (CS) This covers the different experiences and opportunities in the customer service industry.
3. Creativity: The New Currency How can we use Filipino inventiveness, creativity and resourcefulness to strengthen the local market?
4. International Recruitment This session will focus on the international standards used in hiring Filipino professionals and/or workers. It will also cover the procedures, requirements and professions that are in demand today.
5. Business Communication or Global Business This topic will discuss aspects of communication you need to consider when it comes to applying and working in Multinational Companies (MNC's).
